JD(S) urges Admn to implement 'Goondas Act'

Puducherry, Dec 4 (UNI) The Puducherry Unit of the Janata Dal(S) today urged the administration to implement 'Goondas Act' in the Union Territory.

The once peaceful Puducherry was now witnessing crimes like murder, robbery and rape, and of late even 'bomb culture', JD(S) State President E Ganesan said in a statement here.

In order to curb this meance, the'Goondas Act' should be enforced immediately, he added.
