iGATE-UBoC sign IT services agreement

Bangalore, Dec 4: iGATE Global Solutions (iGATE), an integrated technology and operations (iTOPS) company, today announced signing of technology services agreement with the Union Bank of California (UBoC), the 25th largest Bank in the US based on assets.

As per the agreement, iGATE will initially set up a 100-strong Operation Technology Centre (OTC) for the bank at its software development campus in Whitefield, a release said here.

iGATE is providing a full range of IT services, spanning Application Development and Maintenance, Infrastructure Management Services(IMS), Data Warehousing, Quality Assurance, Business Intelligence, Consulting and technology work for Basel-II compliance.

Company CEO Phaneesh Murthy said in the release, ''this partnership gives us confidence that our iTOPS model is gaining more acceptance and momentum.''
