HC extends interim order in 'Leela Kunj' case

Allahabad, Dec 4 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court today extended the interim order till tomorrow against the demolition of 'Leela Kunj.' The order was passed by a division bench comprising Justices Amitav Lala and V C Mishra.

The apartment is situated at Beli Road here. Kiran Srivastava had filed a writ petition, seeking implementation of an order passed by the zonal officer of Allahabad Development Authority (ADA) for demolition of the 'Leela Kunj' as it was illegally constructed by the builder Baba Sahkari Samiti.

When the ADA started razing the apartment, some lawyers, who had been allotted flats, sought HC intervention.

The petitioners said they are the bonafide purchaser and were being harassed without any fault.
