Boost in Rajasthan's 'Safa' turban business

Jaipur, 4 December, 2007 : With the winter wedding season on, the schedules of Safa or colorful turban makers in Rajasthan have become very tight.

And with huge demand they are enjoying huge profits. Wedding turbans made in Rajasthan are famous in the whole country and the artisans receive orders each year to supply them to other parts of the country too. More than a thousand shops deal in wedding turbans in Jaipur and on an average a single shop sells around 1000 to 1500 turbans during this season.
