Youth kills wife, commits suicide

Palakkad, Dec 3 (UNI) In a gruesome incident, a 35-year-old man committed suicide after killing his wife at Walayar in the district today.

The deceased were identified as Ayyappan and his 25-year-old wife Radha official sources said.

The youth, a casual labourer, murdered his wife by slitting her neck and committed suicide by hanging in their house. Family quarrel was said to be reason for taking the extreme step, the sources added.

The couples had three children.
