Bhopal tragedy victims remembered

Bhopal, Dec 3, 2007 : Survivors of India"s worst industrial tragedy held a torch light rally in central Bhopal city, on the Dec 2nd to remember those killed due to escape of lethal methyl isocynide gas from a Union Carbide pesticide plant 23 years ago.

Thousands of men, women and children marched through the city"s streets carrying lighted torches and shouting slogans as they sought prompt payment of compensation to survivors and the kin of the dead.
