Mukand bags Rs 154 cr order from SAIL

New Delhi, Dec 3 (UNI) Steel and machinery maker Mukand Ltd today said it has secured a contract worth Rs 154 crore from the Steel Authority of India (SAIL) for expansion of its steel mill at Burnpur in West Bengal.

The company will execute the order along with its group company, Mukand Engineers Ltd said in a statement here.

The scope of work includes engineering and supply of auxiliary systems for the mill, including associated electricals, EOT cranes with rotating trolleys and also on-site management of the mechanical equipment of the entire mill which involves the erection and commissioning work, the statement added.
