Junior Docs on indefinite stir for action on MLA

Hyderabad, Dec 3 (UNI) The Junior Doctors Association today launched an indefinite strike in all teaching hospitals in the state demanding the government to register an attempt-to-murder case against MLA Afsar Khan for allegedly attacking junior doctors at Niloufer Hospital here.

According to a press release, the doctors also sought round-the-clock security by police at teaching hospitals in the state and an ordinance for strict punishment against those obstructing doctors on duty.

The doctors would intensify the agitation if the govenrment did not respond to their demands, they warned.
