Talking to newsmen here, Deutsche Messe Vice President Walfigang Pech said that this was for the first time the Trade Fair was being held in India which is making tremendous growth in infrastructure front.
He said that a total of 574 exhibitors from Italy, Spain, USA, Taiwan, China and Germany besides India are expected to occupy 16,700 square meters of space. Mr Pech said that "India is an exceptionally attractive market.
The Trade Fair would give an opportunity for presenting technology and also to cultivate bussiness relations. "CeMAT India would offer domestic and overseas manufacturers and suppliers a unique chance to showcase their lastes products and services who are looking for solutions to their new challenges in the areas of material handling and intralogistics."
The Industrial Automation India would focus on providers of complex automation systems, components and sub-contractors. "India is a young market for factory and process automation which has a potential of market growth of over 25 per cent by 2010," he added.
