Hafed slashes weedicides' prices up to 40 per cent

Chandigarh, Dec 3 (UNI) The Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Limited (HAFED) has slashed the prices of its weedicides up to 40 per cent from the existing prices of weedicides prevalent in the market.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of HAFED said that for Rabi (wheat) crop, HAFED had announced a bonanza for the farmers by providing them quality products like Sulphosulfuron 75 WG, Cladinofop Propargyl 15 WP and Isoprotorn 75 WP on the lowest prices in the state in comparison to the existing sale rate in the market.

Now Farmers will get HAFED's Sulphosulfuron 75 WG at a rate of Rs 225 per acre against the market price of Rs 325 per acre, HAFED Cladinofop Propargyl 15 WP at the rate of Rs 313 per acre against Rs 393 per acre and Isoprotorn 75 WP at the rate of Rs 180 per kg as against the market rate of Rs 225 per kg.
