FIR against suspended JD(U) MLA Sunil Pandey

Sasaram, Dec 3 (UNI) An FIR was registered today against a former JD (U) MLA Sunil Pandey, now in Sasaram Jail, for threatening the Jail Superintendent with dire consequences.

Police said Mr Pandey, a suspended MLA, was presently in jail for the last one year in connection with several criminal cases including kidnappings, murder and extortions.

The accussed had also threatened the Jail Superintendent Sanjay Chaudhary, with dire consequence if he failed to obey the formers dictates.

'' Mr Chaudhary refused to fall prey to the pressure of Mr Pandey and affirmed that jail manuals would be strictly followed in its premises'', police added.
