EVM Control unit stolen during training in Jamnagar

Jamnagar, Dec 3 (UNI) An undentified miscreant stole a control unit of an electronic Voting Machine (EVM) during the training session for officers on election duty, conducted at the L G Haria College here.

According to police sources, the Assistant Returning Officer C A Gandhi informed police that last Saturday afternoon a Control Unit of the EVM was stolen during the lunch session.

The election officers said the stolen part can not be misused for ''Bogus Voting''.

Jamnagar police have launched detailed investigations into the episode and questioned over 20 people in this connection, police sources said.
