Centre sanctions Eco Tourism Project for Haryana

Chandigarh, Dec 3 (UNI) The Centre has sanctioned a sum of Rs six crore for Eco Tourism Project of the Haryana Tourism.

Talking to reporters here today, Minister of State for Tourism Kiran Choudhry said Eco Tourism was being implemented at three places in the state--Morni, Kalesar and Pinjore.

To a question, she said the new tourism policy of Haryana had been drafted and it would be implemented after the approval of the Cabinet. She said the main aim of introducing the new tourism policy was to attract the investment in the field of tourism in a big way.

She said during the travel trade mart, which was held at London, Haryana had got an encouraging response for promoting the tourism scenario of the state.
