TN CM hands over appointment orders to lecturers

Chennai, Dec 2 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today handed over appointment orders to 30 persons selected for the posts of lecturers in government arts and science colleges.

An official release here said as many as 975 persons were selected for appointment as lecturers in the government colleges of which the 30 persons were handed over the orders by the Chief Minister.

After the DMK Government assumed power, steps were taken to fill up the 1,020 vacancies in Higher Education Department following which selecton examinations were held, it added.
