JPCC demands to dissolve committees formed by NDA govt

Ranchi, Dec 2 (UNI) The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) today demanded dissolution of all the committees formed during the tenure of the erstwhile NDA government in the state.

The decision was taken at the meeting of its office bearers, held at the party office.

Party spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey said JPCC chief Pradep Kumar Balmuchu would write to the Jharkhand Chief Minister in this regard very soon.

''The party would also ask the state government to provide details of the funds allocated by the Centre to departments and NGOs functioning across the state,'' Mr Dubey said.

Meanwhile, the party's state executive would hold a meeting tomorrow in presence of in-charge Ajay Maken and Hema Gamang.
