BSP extends invitation to Prakash to join its fold

Bangalore, Dec 2 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party today extended an invitation to Janata Dal (S) rebel leader and former home minister M P Prakash to join its fold to strengthen its presence in Karnataka.

Talking to newspersons here, BSP State Unit President B Gopal said he had met Mr Prakash and invited him to join the party.

Mr Gopal said the former Minister P G R Sindhia, who had already identified with BSP, had also met Mr Prakash and urged him to join the party.

The final decision was, however, left to Mr Prakash and his supporters, he added.
