BJP poised to win Karnataka polls, rules out alliance
Kozhikode, Dec 2 (UNI) Ruling out any poll pact in Karnataka, the BJP today said it was poised for a resounding victory in the coming Assembly election in the state.
Talking to newspersons here, party national spokesperson Prakash Javedkar said ''we expect a resounding victory single handedly'' and there was no question of forging a tie up with any political party in the state.
He said the political scenario was in favour of the BJP, after fall of the seven-day old Yeddyurappa government, following the JD(S)' withdrawal of support.
The party was also poised for a come back with a convincing victory in Gujarat and added that reports from Himachal Pradesh, which would go to polls on December 19, was also very encouraging.
In the national level, he said the party machinery was fully geared up to face a mid-term poll.
