Khargone, MP, Dec 1 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said various alleged scams during the ten-year Digvijay Singh rule in the state would be probed.

Mr Chouhan, while addressing a public meeting at Helapadava and Adand in support of BJP candidate for Khargone Lok Sabha seat Krishnamurari Moghe, said the government would get various irregularities during Mr Singh's tenure probed.

Stating that the allegations levelled against him by the Congress over dumpers' purchase issue was baseless, he said the Opposition was attempting to divert people's attention by demanding his resignation.

He said the Congress was afraid over unprecedented developmental work done by the government and wanted to target the BJP.

Talking to reporters at Udand, Mr Chouhan claimed that Mr Moghe would emerge victorious in the Khargone bypoll.

Meanwhile, state Congress President Subhash Yadav, while addressing public meetings in his son and Congress nominee Arun Yadav's favour, alleged that the BJP Government was sunk in corruption. People would teach the government lesson in the bypoll.
