Exemption from compulsory Telugu policy

Hyderabad, Dec 1 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh government has issued orders for exemption from the compulsory Telugu policy to students of parents who are domiciled in other states or other countries and foreign nationals appearing for the tenth class examinations.

Such students could take ''Special English'' in place of Telugu as an alternative second language from this academic year, State School Education Director S Balasubramanyam said in an official here tonight.
