Vigilance Bureau submits chargesheet in DA cases
Patna, Nov 30 (UNI) The Bihar State Vigilance Bureau today submitted chargesheet against a Director of Primary Education department of the Bihar government in separate cases of Disproportionate Assets (DA).
The chargesheet was submitted by the Bureau before designated judge S K Panwar under various sections of Prevention of Corruption Act against Mr Mahender Prasad Sinha, Director (Agriculture)-cum-controller of Weight and Measurement department of Bihar (since retired).
As per the chargesheet, Mr Sinha had amassed wealth over Rs 1.52 lakh during his service tenure which was dispropotionate to his all known sources of income.
While another chargesheet was filed before the same court against A K Ambasta,Director, Primary Education (Bihar Government) (since retired).
According to the charges, Mr Ambasta had amassed disproportionate assets of over Rs 3.55 lakh during his service tenure.
