Two awarded death sentence in Rohtas

Sasaram, Nov 30 (UNI) Two people were awarded death sentence and three sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment by a local court in connection with kidnapping and subsequent killing of a minor.

Presiding officer of the Fast Track court Umesh Chandra Mishra awarded death sentence to Bishwanath Singh and Parvati Devi after they were found guilty in kidnapping and subsequent killing of three- year child.

Three others were sentenced to life imprisonment in the same case.

According to the charges, the convicts were involved in kidnapping and subsequent killing of a three-year-old child at Karup village under Karahgar police station in Rohtas district on June five, 1995.
