MTNL to increase broadband customers

MTNL
has
announced
that
it
is
working
hard
towards
increasing
its
broadband
customer
base
by
about
8-9000
by
December
15
and
about
50,000
by
March
next
year.
The State-run telecom service provider has already set up 660 Base transmission stations or BTS and is planning 392 more BTSes by March next year. MTNL has also launched a new application in the national capital city that would enable its subscribers to send SMSes in 11 Indian languages.
