Tehsils
spread
over
33
districts
in
Madhya
Pradesh
have
been
declared
drought-hit
due
to
scanty
rains
this
year,
official
sources
said
today.
The worst affected areas fall in Gwalior, Sagar and Rewa divisions, where below normal rainfall was recorded this monsoon.
Meanwhile, the state government allocated Rs two crore each for carrying out drought relief works in Gwalior and Bhind districts, the sources added.
