Kathmandu, Nov 29 (UNI) Confirmations for 15 Ambassador-designates have been received so far and six more, including the Ambassador designated to India were being awaited, according to the Foreign Ministry of Nepal.

The last agreemo for Dr Rishi Adhikari for Malaysia was received yesterday, state run media quoted Foreign Ministry as saying. He is the Maoist nominee Ambassador, it added.

Others whose confirmations were being awaited include Sailaja Acharya from New Delhi, Hamid Ansari and Bal Bahadur Kunwar of the erstwhile NC(D) from Islamabad.

According to the spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Hira Bahadur Thapa, three nominees of CPN-Maoist had not received agreemos. The government had nominated Pampha Bhusal for France, Yogendra Dhakal for Australia and Bijaya Kanta Lal Karna for Denmark.

Among 14 envoys, some have already presented their credentials and assumed their positions in the respective countries.

Mr Thapa said, ''Generally agreemos are expected to arrive within three months. If not, the government should nominate a new person.

We are hopeful that confirmations for all the nominees would come,'' he added. Fifteen days were left for receiving the agreemos of the six nominees, he concluded.
