Two killed in cannon burst during reception to minister

Jaipur, Nov 28 (UNI) Two people were killed when a cannon ball burst during firing at a reception of Rajasthan Civil Supplies Minister Dr Kirorilal Meena at Bidoli village in Sawai Madopur district.

According to police sources, Dr Meena was on his way to the Meena Badora village under Wazirpur police station in the district for the inauguration of a school building yesterday. On the way the villagers of Bidoli arranged a reception to the minister. During the firing of the cannon ball in honour of the minister, one of them burst injuring Devilal Meena (50) and Murlilal Meena (40). Though they were rushed to the SMS hospital in Jaipur, the doctors declared them brought dead.
