Silver, Gold open softer on weaker global advice

Mumbai, Nov 28: Precious metals today declined again in the opening session with Silver declining by Rs 455 per kg and Gold by Rs 255 per ten gm from their previous day's close on poor ornament makers demand in view of bearish advice from global markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

At London, New York and Asian markets, yellow metal quoted low at USD 813.50/815.25 per troy ounce against the previous day's close of 820.25/823.50 while white metal touched a low at USD 14.47/14.53 per troy ounce compared to 14.75/14.78 per troy ounce on the previous day which affected downward trend in domestic prices, traders added.

Following are the opening rates of spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade: Rs 19,205, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint Rs 10,370, Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold Rs 10,420.
