Rupee opens high at 39.75/77 against dollar

Mumbai, Nov 28: The Spot Rupee today opened high at 39.75/77 per US Dollar, rising from the previous finish of 39.78 on fresh Dollar demand from foreign banks.

During the intra-day, the Rupee was trading at 39.69/70.

The Rupee moved up as the Dollar dropped to a record low against the Euro and to a two-and-a-half year trough against the Yen, though gains were likely to be limited by RBI intervention, dealers said.
