National Bokaro Steel Cup from tomorrow

Bokaro, Nov 28: About 16 teams would participate in the 24th National Bokaro Steel Cup football tournament beginning here tomorrow.

Bokaro Steel Plant (BSP) administrator Jeevesh Mishra told a news conference last evening that invitations to about 30 teams had been sent but so far only 16 teams had given their approval.

Mr Mishra said about eight national and international referees had been appointed by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) to conduct the tournament.

The BSP would spend about Rs 20 lakh for the event and the final match would be played on December 9.
