Naga Hohos call emergency meeting

The
Naga
Hoho,
the
apex
traditional
body
of
all
Naga
tribes,
is
convening
an
emergency
meeting
with
NGOs
on
December
2,
for
meaningful
intervention
for
the
development
of
the
Nagas.
According to a release issued here today, the Naga Hoho General Secretary Neingulo Krome said the Naga Hoho affirmed that unity and reconciliation amongst the Nagas at all levels and especially among the undergrounds, which had always been a great concern of all the Nagas.
Mr Krome said that consultations will be held with the Naga Peoples' Movement for Human Rights(NPMHR), Naga Students' Federation (NSF), Naga Mothers' Association(NMA), Council of Nagaland Baptist Churches (CNBC), Nagaland Baptist Church Council(NBCC) and Nagaland Christian Forum (NCF), along with the Presidents of all Naga tribes.
He also said that an Executive Council meeting of the Naga Hoho held yesterday had decided to convene a Federal Assembly in March next year,the release added.
