MP Assembly adjourned sine die

Bhopal, Nov 28: The Madhya Pradesh Assembly was adjourned sine die on the winter session's third day today amid pandemonium by the Opposition, demanding Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's resignation over the dumper purchase issue.

Speaker Ishwardas Rohani rushed through the well of the house disrupting the assembly's business. The session was scheduled for 12 days and was to conclude on December 7.

The Lokayukt Special Police Establishment had registered an FIR against Mr Chouhan, his wife and others for alleged corruption in purchase of four dumpers that were later hired out to the Rewa-based J P Cement company. The FIR was registered following the directive of a local special court.
