Minor gang raped in Gorakpur of UP

Gorakhpur, Nov 28: A 12-yr-old girl was allegedly gang raped by five persons in Gulharia area of the city.

Village Khuthan resident Sonam had been missing since Sunday and villagers informed the police after spotting her body inside a hut yesterday.

Meanwhile, police seized the corpse and arrested Raju, Ram Bhog, Bahadur, Jitendra and Rajesh in this regard. Prima facie, it is being suspected that the nabbed had criminally assaulted the girl before murdering her.

The Body has been sent for autopsy and the accused were being interrogated, police said.
