Japan stocks up as high-tech stocks gain on Wall St

TOKYO, Nov 28 (Reuters) Japan's Nikkei average rose 0.3 percent on Wednesday as high-tech stocks such as TDK Corp gained following a rise on Wall Street.

As of 0001 GMT, the Nikkei was up 48.29 points at 15,271.14.

The broader TOPIX index added 0.3 percent or 4.99 points to 1,483.77.
