BK Chena sworn in as APPSC member

Itanagar, Nov 28: Bitta Kumar Chena was sworn in as member of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission(APPSC) at a brief ceremony held in the commission office here yesterday.

APPSC Chairman Rinchen Dorjee administered the oath of office and secrecy to Chena amidst a gathering, including Commission member T S Boko and Dr Ligu Tacho, APPSC Secretary R Ronya, senior government officers and Commission staffs, informed official sources here today.

With the induction of Chena, the members of the Commission have increased to four including the Chairman.

He was also the Vice President Zilla Parishad of Changlang district in 1988. He is the second person from Tangsa Community to be appointed to this coveted post after Y. Tikhak.
