Two die in road accident

Rourkela, Nov 27 (UNI) Two persons died on the spot and one was injured in an accident near Vedavyas Chowk under Brahmnunitarang police station of Sundergarh district today.

Police said the accident occurred, when a truck collided head-on with a motor cycle. While the truck was on its way to Rourkela from Rajgangpur, the motor cycle was coming from Rourkela towards Rajgangpur. The victims were both on the motor cycle.

The injured had been admitted to the Rourkela government hospital.

The truck driver was absconding. Brahamunaitarang Inspector in Charge Prashant Mohanty said efforts were on to identify the victims.
