Seven child labourers released by STF in Darbhanga

Darbhanga, Nov 27 (UNI) A Special Task Force constituted to check child labour today succeeded in saving seven children from different localities of the town.

District Magistrate Upendra Sharma here said the task force, operating under the district administration, raided Station chowk, Tower chowk, Mashraf Bazar and several other areas of the town and saved the children who were working there.

Earlier, a 12-member task force was constituted to check the growing menace of child labour. Twenty four children were yesterday released by the task force, Mr Sharma said.

The taks force would continue functioning till the first week of December, Mr Sharma added.
