Gopalpur sea beach, Podampeta Nolia basti, in Ganjam district, Satabhaya and Kanpur mouja in Kendrapara district and Kusupur, Tentulibelari, Bakeipur, Ichhapur and Bardia area of Balikuda tehsil in Jagatsinghpur district were threatened due to sea erosion,he said.

But it had not posed any threat to the people living close to the sea, the minister said.
