R P Hooda appointed MDU VC

Chandigarh, Nov 27 (UNI) Haryana Governor A R Kidwai has appointed Kurukshetra University Vice-Chancellor Prof R P Hooda as the Vice-Chancellor of Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak.

Prof Hooda will replace Mr R S Dhankar who will relinquish the charge as MDU Vice-Chancellor on December three.

Prof Hooda has been appointed MDU VC with effect from December four.

Mr Rajan Gupta, Commissioner and Secretary, Education will hold the post of Kurukshetra University Vice-Chancellor in addition to his present duties with effect from December four.
