Phillaur Police arrests eight POs, including murder accused

Phagwara, Nov 27 (UNI) In a major success, Phillaur Police today arrested eight Proclaimed Offenders including a murder accused.

Jasbir Singh, village Tehing, who was declared PO in case of the murder of his sister-in-law Pushpa Rani, was among those arrested, Phillaur DSP Rajinder Singh Sohal told reporters.

Police had also arrested one Kashmir, alias Sheri, of village Khanpur and recovered 40 gm smack from his possession, he said.
