Max New York begins operations in HP

Shimla, Nov 27 (UNI) Max New York Life today launched its operations in the hill state of Himachal Pradesh.

Addressing mediapersons here, the company's Vice President Kenneth Sannoo said, "Max New York Life is trying to create awareness amongst the people that insurance is a financial protection and wealth creation instrument and not just a tax saving tool." ''The opening of office in Shimla will help us in educating people about the true potential and benefits of life insurance, besides as a life insurance specialist, Max New York will continue to guide the consumers about their financial goals,'' he said.

He said since the launch of its operations, the focus had been on providing risk protection and long term wealth creation solutions to the customers.

"Max New York is setting benchmarks in the market and is on course of realising the vision of becoming India's most admired life insurance company," Mr Sanno said.

The company has sold over 1.86 million policies worth Rs 54,000 crore. It has established a countrywide network of 190 offices and representatives across 129 cities in India, he added.
