Man absconding after killing wife, son commits suicide

Hoshiarpur, Nov 27 (UNI) A man who was absconding after killing his wife and son today committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at Bharua village in the district.

The deceased identified as Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Jalandhar, had killed his wife and son in his house at Guru Ram Dass Nagar on the night of November 25. Sukhwinder had assaulted his wife Parminder Kaur, son Gurbax Singh and daughter Paramjit Kaur with a sword. Parminder Kaur and Gurbax Singh died on the spot while Paramjit Kaur got injuries and remained survive. After committing this heinous crime Sukhwinder was absconding.

According SP (D) Sushil Kumar, his body was found hanging from a tree by the villagers. The body has been sent for post mortem to Civil Hospital, Garhshankar.
