Kidnapped boy stabbed, half-burnt body found in fields

Ambala, Nov 27 (UNI) Half burnt body of a youth was recovered from the fields in village Kandaiwala near Kala Amb in the district, police today said.

The body was identified as of Rohit, resident of Naraingarh, who had gone missing on November 21 and was suspected to have been kidnapped by local youths.

On the complaint lodged by the Satish Kumar, father of Rohit, the police recovered the body last night and later arrested Sanjiv, one of the three suspected youths named in the complaint.

On the revelations by Sanjiv, his two accomplices Sunny and Ganga Ram, were also nabbed.

The trio has admitted to having killed Rohit by stabbing for fear of being identified by the boy whom they had kidnapped for ransom.

One of the accused also stated 'old enmity' with Rohit's family as the reason behind his killing the boy.
