HMT(I) bags EEPC award for export excellence

Bangalore, Nov 27 (UNI) The HMT (I) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the public sector HMT Limited, has bagged the Export Excellence award for the year 2005-06, instituted by the Regional engineering Export Promotion Council, Chennai.

HMT(I) was conferred the excellence award for its successful execution of several engineering projects and also its extended technical services in many developing countries, according to a release here today.

HMT(I) which has carved a niche for itself in the field of Training Centre projects, has set up training centers in many developing countries also made foray into the field of IT by setting up Indo-Kyrgyz Center for Information Technology in Kyrgyzstan which was inaugurated recently.

HMT(I) also has set up a Common Facility Tool Room Centre in Kabul, Afghanistan. The company was presently implementing a Cashew Processing Project in Mozambique and SME Development Project in Zimbabwe the release added.
