Explosives seized at TN coast

Rameswaram, Nov 27 (UNI) The police here seized 3,200 gelatin sticks and 300 detonators, and arrested five persons in this connection at Chimmamadam near here this afternoon.

Police sources said Kaliammal, Ananthakumar, Jenson , Chandran and Karunanidhi were waylaid after a police team found them moving in suspicious circumstances.

They had reportedly disembarked from a bus and were proceeding to their village when they were apprehended.
