Criminal case against mayor

Ratlam, MP, Nov 27 (UNI) A criminal case has been registered against Ratlam Municipal Corporation Mayor Asha Mourya and some other municipal councillors for cutting cable wire laid down by BSNL and seizing other instruments.

Ms Mourya, alderman Kanhaiyalal, town architect R M Pandaya, Members in Council members Arun Rao, Suresh Papatwal and Satyadeep Bhatt reached a house in Nagarwas area on November 20 and tore apart optical fibre cable and seized some instruments.

A complaint was lodged by the BSNL and house owner in this regard.

A case was registered under the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984.
