Cong leader shot dead

Muzaffarnagar, Nov 27 (UNI) Unidentified gunmen shot dead a local Congress leader in Khatauli area here today.

Police said Congress district unit general secretary Kanti Tyagi was sitting in a shop, when he was shot.

He died on the spot.

Old enmity was reported to be the reason behind the crime.

Investigation was on.
