Chhatrasal Museum to be developed as Complete Destination Venue

Bhopal, Nov 27 (UNI) The famous Maharaja Chhatrasal Museum at Dhubela in Chhatrpur district would be developed as a Complete Destination Venue.

A Rs five crore-proposal has been forwarded to the Centre on the initiative of Tourism Minister Tukojirao Puar, an official statement said here today.

The proposal envisages renovation and improvement of museum building and its approach road, beautification of museum premises and improvement of Dhubela Palace, Hriday Shah Palace and Maqbara (mausoleum) premises.

The proposal also includes introduction of limited-scale boating in the water reservoior situated behind Dhubela Palace.

Besides, proposals for illumination of all the important monuments in the state had also been forwarded by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Ministry to the Centre.
