Bhel bags order from Maithon Power Ltd

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 27: The public sector Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has won an order for supply and installation of steam generators and steam turbines for the Maithon right bank thermal power project in Jharkhand.

BHEL sources here said Maithon Power Limited, a joint venture company of TATA Power and Damodar Valley Corporation has placed the Rs 2,108 crore order for setting up two units of 525 MW each under the green field power project.
