Abducted class XII student, two militants killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 27 (UNI) Two holed up militants and an abducted class XII student were killed while security forces arrested two ultras across the Kashmir valley overnight, police said today.

They said security forces killed the two militants who had taken refuge in a house after a gun-battle erupted at Chenad village in Baramulla district today.

Police further said the identity of the slain militants was being ascertained. However, the two were believed to be Pakistani nationals, they added.

Two AK rifles and some ammunition were seized from the encounter site. Police also said the militants in order to facilitate their escape set afire the house, where they had taken refuge.
