135 booths declared hypersensitve in Rajkot district

Rajkot, Nov 27 (UNI) The Rajkot district administration has declared as many as 135 polling booths as hypersensitive and 683 of them as sensitive in eleven constituencies of the district.

In all, there are 2,441 polling booths in 11 constituencies of the district.

The highest number (30) of hypersensitive booths are in Rajkot-Rural constituency, whereas 55 were declared as sensitive out of 398 booths, the adminstration authorities said in a release here today.

Jetpur constituency too has 24 hypersensitive booths, while 38 out of 198 are sensitive ones.

In Rajkot-I constituency, out of 305 booths, 113 booths have been declared as sensitive, while it does not have a single hypersensitive booth.

In Rajkot-II, 69 booths out of 167 have been declared as sensitive but there is no hypersensitive booth in the constituency.

In Morbi, 54 booths out of 197 have been declared as sensitive while there is not a hypersensitive booth.

A similar case is that of Tankara constituency where there is no hypersensitive booth, while 65 booths out of 252 have been declared as sensitive.

In Gondal constituency, 116 booths out of 177 have been declared as sensitive, while there is no hypersensitive booth. In Upleta constituency, there is no hypersensitive booth, while 40 polling booths out of 149 have been declared as sensitive ones there.

In Dhoraji constituency, there are two hypersensitive booths, whereas 73 booths out of 169 are sensitive ones.

Jasdan constituency has 15 hypersensitive booths, while 37 out of 214 booths are sensitive.

Paramilitary forces will be deployed in the hypersenstive booths, official sources added.
