Indo-Nepal meeting on Custom cooperation

Kathmandu, Nov 26 (UNI) The eleventh Indo-Nepal meeting on custom coordination and cooperation concluded in Kathmandu yesterday.

Director General of Customs (Nepal), Laxman Kumar Pokharel and Director General of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (India), Sumit Dutta Majumdar led the delegations of their countries in the meeting.

Both the countries host such meeting every year on rotation basis to discuss issues on trade smoothening, controlling the unauthorised trade, construction of physical infrastructures for the Customs Offices and management of customs check posts.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed after the meeting by Mr Pokharel and Mr Majumdar.
